Your family’s health notes stay on your device.

Acesa is a local-first family health memory app. Acesa is not a medical provider and does not offer medical advice or diagnosis.

1.What stays on your device

Your family’s health logs (symptoms, illness notes, care details, medications you choose to record, and other health-related notes) are stored on your phone or tablet. They are not uploaded to Acesa’s servers, iCloud, Google Drive, or any other cloud service.

Acesa does not require an account. There is no login, no password with us, and no two-factor authentication. You use the app on your device; your data stays with it.

Do not use Acesa as your only record for emergency medical information.

2.Optional passcode

You can set a passcode in the app to help keep your notes private on your device. That passcode is stored locally on your device. Acesa does not receive or store it.

3.Optional air quality

If you turn on air quality, Acesa may send a rounded location (about a one-kilometer area, not a street address or place name) to fetch environmental data. That request does not include your health notes or other personal health information.

Environmental and air-quality data may be cached using Supabase. That cache is for weather and air-quality lookups only. Your family’s health memories are not stored there.

4.Crash reporting

If crash reporting is enabled, Acesa may send crash and error diagnostics through Sentry to help fix bugs. That telemetry is about app stability, not your health logs. We do not send your family’s health notes to Sentry.

5.This website and beta signup

If you join the beta or contact us through this website, we may collect information you choose to send (such as your email address, beta signup answers, or support messages) so we can reply and run the beta. That is separate from the health notes you keep in the app on your device.

We do not sell your personal health information.

6.Household sharing

Household sharing between devices or family members is not available in the current app. When it exists, we will update this policy.

7.Security

Because your health logs stay on your device, protecting your phone or tablet, including any passcode you set in Acesa or in your device settings, is an important part of keeping your notes private. No system is perfect, but we design Acesa so your family’s health memories are not stored in our cloud.

8.Deleting your data

To remove health notes from Acesa, delete them in the app or uninstall the app from your device. If you emailed us through the website and want those messages removed, contact [email protected].

9.Children's information

Acesa is designed for parents and caregivers to keep family health notes on their own device. Children should not use the app without a parent or guardian.

10.Not HIPAA

Acesa is a consumer family health memory tool, not a HIPAA-covered service. We do not represent that Acesa meets HIPAA requirements.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Acesa grows. When we make important changes, we will update the date above and provide notice when appropriate.
